I'm Lewis.

​

I'm a Manchester based writer/director & cinematographer specialising in actors showreels, short films, music videos and commercials.

 

In my narrative work I really enjoy creating work within the realms of social realism, focusing on human experiences and emotions, usually set against working class backdrops with moments of abstraction. Ultimately my goal within any project is to touch on something honest and true within a character that we can all connect with on some level.

When working with businesses making promotional content, I like amplifying a companies ethos, creating videos that create buzz and excitement, making people want to walk through the door and see what it's all about.

​

My first short film, 'GLASS HOUSES', played to a sold out screening at MANIFF and was met with audience acclaim, my second film, 'Where The Light Falls' screened at the renowned BAFTA & BIFA qualifying Norwich Film Festival and his third film, 'My Brother, Jamie.' is in pre-production.

​

I also seek out opportunities to work as a camera trainee in the camera department on HETV, Film & Commercial.
