'My Brother, Jamie.' is a semi-autobiographical drama currently in pre-production written and to be directed by Lewis Fernandez.

The short film follows the life of 10 year old Toby as he and his family navigate the incarceration of his 17 year old brother Jamie for Actual Bodily Harm. The film will be produced by Damian Palli of Goons Production.

Synopsis: Set in Rotherham in 2002, ten-year-old Toby grapples with the realisation of his older brother's sudden incarceration. Lost in a world of video game logic, Toby struggles to readjust when Jamie returns home, forcing him to confront a reality that's far messier than any video game mission.

Currently the screenplay is under consideration for optioning by Matriarch Productions (Stephen Graham, Hannah Walters) & Birdie Pictures (Phil Temple) as part of their Grass Routes prize. The screenplay passed the first round where 80% of the submitted scripts were not taken forward.
